RoCM Halloween Playlist: 26 Oct 2024

So we had some technical issues last Saturday that prevented the show from airing… so we’ll do an “after Halloween but close enough” show next week. Apologies everyone.

Welcome to the Halloween edition of The Return of CoolMojo – probably my favorite show to put together every year. Lots of Halloween themed tunes with some trailers from classic and not-so-classic horror films from the 70s and 80s. And there’s a special intro from a special guest for this show as well.

Don’t forget that you can listen to the show online at KCSB-FM’s website and there’s an online archive available for two weeks after the show airs.

Welcome to 2025 everyone – and Happy New Year. This week, unfortunately, got away from me a bit as I had some professional obligations that had to take priority so this show – while musically solid – was thrown together last minute. Hopefully, next week will be a bit quieter. Here is the playlist. Don’t…

So here we are… a website. I don’t know, man, I was kind of hoping to avoid this but given the takeover of Twitter by a real-life James Bond villain, Facebook becoming a Baby Boomer conspiracy Meta-verse hellscape, and… okay, I admit it, I am old so I have no idea what the fuck TikTok…

The first program of the Fall 2024 KCSB programming schedule. We are taking a break from the birthday tributes to go back to normal jazz programming. Last week we did a tribute to Bill Dixon and this week we are featuring a track from an album he produced by the Marzette Watts Ensemble. Additionally, there…
