RoCM Jack DeJohnette Memorial Playlist: 08 Nov 2025
So John DeJohnette passed away last week at the age of 83, closing the book on a nearly 50 year career in jazz. This week, I put together a playlist that features tracks with DeJohnette as both a leader and a sideperson – and I really tried to find some deeper cuts. Two hours doesn’t really seem like a long enough time to do his career justice.
Don’t forget that you can listen to the RoCM online at KCSB-FM’s website and there’s an online archive available for two weeks after the show airs.
