RoCM Playlist: 01 June 2024

Back with a brand new show this week and we start off by celebrating the 100th birthday of legendary Sun Ra Arkestra band leader Marshall Allen who was born on May 25, 1924 – a birthday made all the crazier by the fact that he is still going at 100 years old. Amazing.

We also have a relatively new album by James Brandon Lewis among some other notable tunes – so all around, some great music on this show to make up for last week’s re-air. Welcome to June 2024, everyone.

So here’s the playlist. Don’t forget that you can listen online at KCSB-FM’s website and there’s an online archive available for two weeks after the show airs.
