RoCM Playlist: 21 June 2025
Sadly, this week we say goodbye to two significant members of the free jazz community. Louis Moholo-Moholo passed away on June 13th at the age of 85 and Sven-Åke Johansson passed away on June 15th at the age of 82. So we open the first hour and the second hour with respective tributes to both.
After the tributes, the first hour rounds out this tracks by Roland Kirk and Charlie Haden, and the second hour concludes with the single album by Sam Sanders & Vision followed by the Billy Bang & Frank Lowe Quartet.
Here is the playlist. Don’t forget that you can listen to the RoCM online at KCSB-FM’s website and there’s an online archive available for two weeks after the show airs.
