RoCM Playlist: 25 Oct 2025
This week we hear from a lot of trios in the first hour – Ed Blackwell, Cameron Brown, and Dewey Redman are featured as are Andrew Cyrille, Wadada Leo Smith & Bill Frisell. The jazz trio New Air with Henry Threadgill, Fred Hopkins, and Pheeroan akLaff are joined by Cassandra Wilson on a great track. And we close out with a trio known as Harriet Tubman that consists of the always stellar Melvin Gibbs with J.T. Lewis and Brandon Ross.
The second hour we have three featured tracks by Jeff Parker, Don Cherry, and Noah Howard to round out the program.
And I would be remiss if I didn’t remind everyone that next week is one of my favorite shows to produce ever year – the Halloween edition of RoCM.
