RoCM Playlist Pharaoh Sander Tribute: 1 Oct 2022

Sad news as we say good-bye to a one of the greatest jazz musicians of all time, Pharoah Sanders, who passed away a week ago today. Hard to sum up the career of this extraordinary jazz musician in a single, two hour radio show, so we’ll hit some of my favorites, along with a personal story regarding a late KCSB programmer who introduced me to one of my favorite pieces of jazz that is also a composition by this departed legend.
