Today, Sept 14th, is the birthday of two regulars who frequently appear in our RoCM playlists: Oliver Lake and Joseph Jarman. I’ve played quite of bit of Oliver Lake over the last few weeks, and while my playlists aren’t exactly short on music by Joseph Jarman, I thought it would be nice to feature his work outside of his contributions to the Art Ensemble of Chicago.
