Another Saturday, another edition of RoCM.
Leading off is a track from the Music Revelation Ensemble as led by James Blood Ulmer. We revisit albums by Rashied Ali and Arthur Rhames and as well as Archie Shepp and Kahil El’Zabar – ending the hour with a great track by Fay Victor. The second hour starts with Clifford Thorton‘s tribute of sorts to Langston Hughes. We then hear from Marc Levin, Amina Claudine Myers and Hannibal Marvin Peterson.
