RoCM Playlist: 24 June 2023

Unfortunately, the news of the passing of Peter Brötzmann broke after the show was already submitted so we will have to do a tribute next week – but oddly enough, I did throw a Last Exit tune into the show this week. What an absolute run he had… I don’t think we’ll ever see someone quite like Brötzmann ever again…

Here’s the playlist. Don’t forget that you can listen online at KCSB-FM’s website and there’s an online archive available for two weeks after the show airs.

The RoCM is officially on the KCSB-FM schedule for Fall 2023 at 4pm – same jazz time, same jazz channel – although the re-air at Wed at 12am is no longer happening. That was only temporary anyway – so it’s good that they are moving things around. Anyway, three birthdays to celebrate this week –…

So last week was, in fact, a reair due to the uploading snafu that happened while I was travelling – so the new show *should* air this week. Unfortunately, this week was filled with both personal and professional obligations, so I have not had time to update the website accordingly – hopefully, I’ll have some…
