RoCM Playlist: 11 Mar 2023

So last week’s show was kind of a trainwreck – arguably the worst show I’ve produced since The Return of CoolMojo began – in addition to butchering the names of a few artists, I mistakenly played a track twice. The archive is up for another few hours if you want to relive the carnage. This week should be an improvement – but really, nowhere to go but up from last week.

My son’s birthday was this past week and, coincidentally, there were also a ton of jazz birthdays this past week as well – so every artist on today’s playlist, with the exception of the two Toms (Waits and Lehrer), celebrated a birthday between last week’s show and today.

Apologies to Wes Montgomery and Louis Moholo-Moholo, both of whom celebrated a birthday this week but for reasons of time did not make it on the playlist.

Maybe I should move to a 3 hour show? Yeah… no. Anyway, here’s the playlist:
