RoCM Playlist: 16 Mar 2024

So here’s hoping we get back on track after the last few weeks of… inconsistent… show airings. I wish I could blame it entirely on technical issues at the station, but alas, that would be entirely unfair as I was not exactly 100% over the last few weeks.

We are going to hit the two birthdays that I was hoping to hit last week – Kali Z. Fasteau and Ornette Coleman. We have brand new music by Moor Mother the kick off the program – followed by three live performances recorded on consecutive days in July of 1977 – and ending the show with a bandmate of Moor Mother in the Irreversible Entanglements, Keir Neuringer, performing a solo saxophone piece.

This is a solid musical show, folks.

Don’t forget that you can listen online at KCSB-FM’s website and there’s an online archive available for two weeks after the show airs.
