RoCM Post: 19 July 2025
So a brand new show this week featuring some new music as well as some artists I’ve never featured before. Lots of good stuff this week, with music by Rob Mazurek, The Nu Band, and Jimmy Lyons featured in the third volume of a new series called Rivbea Live! Series that features performances from one of the most prominent of the “loft” jazz spaces run by Sam Rivers and his wife Bea.
A quick show note that the show is being broadcast twice on the airwaves at KCSB-FM. Our typical show time remains on Saturdays at 4pm PDT, and a re-air of the Saturday show on Wednesdays at 1am PDT.
Don’t forget that you can listen online at KCSB-FM’s website and there’s an online archive available for two weeks after the show airs.
